Blue flowers Happy Birthday card

Hi friends /bloggers a very quick post tonight. We are on babysitting duties tomorrow and I have a lot to do yet. My cards seem to be piling up now, so I  thought I would just post this one. More of my handmade flowers again, I am liking the next few cards I made for a change  lol. Hope you like them too. I won't list things I used but will answer any queries if asked. I made so many flowers one day as the elec was switched off all day while  they   felled trees. I have forgetten which dies I used now but  will try and find out if asked :) Happy crafting everyone ! ps. hot day tomorrow, but  I have a cunning plan ...... we have a new paddling pool at the  ready for  our young grandson :)

'Wherever you go' card

Hi there, just doing a quick post today. This is a card I made a while ago.....just because. Handmade flowers,computerized sentiment. I won't list everything I used but feel free to ask about anything if you want to know :)    Christine......not enough pink for the 'In the Pink' challenge, but I have made another........ I promise :) ps. Coughing again.....oh my! on a good note I lost 5 lbs last week, ..........then put 2 lbs back on over the weekend lol. Hoping to  lose the 2 lbs and maybe more this week as I am back on the  diet. OH asking if I want some of his Toblerone......... ..... not helping !!!!! grrrrrr    

   

Hexagon card

Good morning everyone, very windy here today, sun earlier but now we have rain boo hoo! Here is another card for this week's  'Less is More' challenge. This time it's a theme which is .......................................................................   HEXAGONS   I was so happy to be chosen again for the showcase,  ( happy dance), thankyou Chrissie and Jen :)    I haven't got any hexagon type stamps or papers etc.  so panic set in at first ( no change there then). Then I  came up with  this idea. I chose an image from my GCF  ( Greeting card  Factory) programme. I made it into a pentagon,  then  squished  the top to make it into a hexagon shape.   All that  sounds quite easy but the programme is working  erratically  atm.  ( to put it mildly) and it kept switching  to a different edit mode grrrrr! .    After almost losing the will to live I  managed to do it however.  I faded some of the images,altered the size and moved them  around etc. then I added a sentiment and printed & cut it  out. I 3d that  piece onto another card base & added  my usual glamour dust. Job done.............and relax.   ps.It's been a strange week, happy news about the new  grandbaby ( smiles). Then our DIL got made redundant, then she aquired another job she had been after the very  next day lol.  Oh and I have lost 5 lbs on my new 'diet', hate that  word....but it is one really. Just hope the weight loss  continues next week now lol.   Have a lovely weekend  whatever you have planned :)  I plan to relax after finishing  both  grandbabies first year  albums at long last.Oh and here is my first effort at digi  scrapbooking too, hope you like it.

'Need for Speed' Card ...and some news !

Hi everyone, I hope all is well with you all today. I have some very exciting news to share. Our eldest son  and his lovely wife are expecting another baby !!! So  Charlie will soon have a brother or a sister, we all don't  mind which. Our niece is also expecting, so babies arriving  like last time all together. Of  course I am beyond excited  again as I sooo love babies. We have known for a few  weeks but not  allowed to say  anything until the 3 month  scan today. All is ok I am pleased  to report , we hope to  find out the sex in a  couple of months time too. Sorry for the  long post but I  soooo needed to share with all my lovely  friends :) Right  onto my second card for 'Less is More' this  week where  it's a one layer card  & the theme is.............. Need for Speed I used a Greeting Card Factory image and added my own sentiment and added some glitter. Hope you like it too :) ps. Looks like we will be having a very exciting Xmas present  this year then :)

'Speeding by' card

Good morning everyone, bit cloudy here atm. grrr !, can't complain   after all the lovely sun though I suppose.I have another 'Less is More'  card to show you today. It's one layer card week again and the theme this time is ................................. Need for Speed I came up with this idea, hope you like it. We are on babysitting duties with our grandson Alexander today. He is asleep just now so I am just  doing this quick post. Happy weekend everyone whatever you have  planned :)

Dandelion card

Hi  bloggers/friends just a quick post today.Here  is a  card I made recently . It fitted a sketch I saw so I made  this quick card. I stamped the image, then left a thin  crescent moon around it when I cut it out. I liked the  effect as the black circle reminded me of the night sky with the dandelion head sillouetted against it.Couldn't  resist adding some sparkle too.I bought some of that  scrummy Silver halo mix...I blame Christine ( you know  who you are lol ! ). Anyway come and have  a closer  look.............................................................. ps. I ordered some new sun lounge windows today ( very large), for the front of the bungalow,can't wait for them to be fitted now. Got a good price after much haggling lol....no wonder my OH  leaves it all to me he he. We also have a very large conservatory  at the back too, new door and one window next on my list! OH  built them both years ago to conserve heat either end of the house, and it does too!

Anniversary card

Hi everyone, I hope you all have this lovely sunny weather too. Sooooo fabulous after  the long Winter and Spring. We have been to the beach, had picnics,eaten ice creams, eaten massive lush  strawberries.Lots of walking and sunbathing, ahhhh hope this sun lasts for ages !!!! Anyway back to blogging, today I have a card I  made for our daughter and her husband for their 3rd Anniversary. I can't believe it's been three years since they got married ....... ...............time flies ! I used a cute digi from Pink Gem Designs  called 'Love bugs', it made me smile :) I am also dabbling in digi  art atm. using Craft Artist.....sooo much to learn !!!!!! I may post my efforts soon........or maybe not lol ...depends how they turn out  lol. Take care my lovely friends and enjoy the sun if you have it :) ps.
